Median XL is a mod or "modification" to the classic Diablo 2 and Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction games. As the meaning suggests, it only modifies the game and the gaming experience.

It's been years since I stopped playing Diablo 2 and Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction. It was quite a thrill but I think it will also years before I reach the maximum level which was level 99. The highest character level I ever got was a level 71 Werewolf Druid and level 62 Bowazon.

It takes quite some time, thousands of monster kills, and reruns of the three Prime Evils themselves.

The gameplay tends to slow as you reach higher levels thus lost its excitement.

Luckily, a friend of mine suggest to try Median XL. So, I searched and downloaded the mod. It's very easy to install, just 1 file swap. Medial XL completely remade the skill tree of the 7 characters in the classic game. There are now a wide range of character build you can make.

A melee sorceress, caster amazon (bloodwitch), holy or unholy paladin, or a throwing barbarian. You create your own path. This entirely brings new gameplay and new meaning to character building.

There are also new runewords each requiring only 1 runeword. But what if the item has 3 slots, does it mean I can make that runeword? Of course not, the requirement is that the last socket should be filled up by the rune. Thus, you can fill jewels or gems first before the required rune.

Download the Median XL mod and enjoy the game. Of course, you need the classic Diablo 2 or Lord of Destruction patch. Sorry guyz.
